Skilled Labourer & Qualified Trades Across SEQ
Harwell Trades and Labour works with site managers and project managers at developer builders and subcontractors across the Gold Coast and Brisbane, on projects from $15 million up. Too many sites get sent labour that's never set foot on a construction job. Workers who can't communicate safely. Workers who don't know the trade. That's not labour hire. That's a liability with a high-vis vest on. We do the opposite. Every worker who goes out under the Harwell name has met us face to face and been walked through the real job before they start. We don't sell a role as "general labouring" and hope for the best. We tell our workers what they're walking into — the levels, the units, the program — so they're bought in before day one. We don't chase every contractor in South East Queensland. We're selective, because that's the only way we keep our word. If we can't service a site properly, we don't take it on. That's why builders come back. Not because we're the cheapest. Because when we say someone will be on site Monday, they're on site Monday, and they already know the job.
Developer builders and subcontractors on projects from $15m up
General and skilled labourers, forklift, telehandler, hoist and EWP operators
Qualified carpenters, waterproofers, formwork carpenters and concrete pavers
Site managers and project managers who plan their labour properly
A short client list, so every site gets properly serviced
If you need four hours here and there with no notice and don't mind who fills the gap, we're not your labour hire. We work with builders who plan ahead and care who's representing them on site.
Every person we send has been vetted face to face. Nobody goes out blind & without a full ownership.
You give us the plans and the programme, and we work to your dates.
No one goes to site without an interview, and an informal walk around first.
We show our face every week to ensure the Harwell team are adding value keeping the program running smoothly.
Harwell is run by one operator, not a call centre. Four years on the desk in trade and labour recruitment, 360 consulting, and client management, every relationship built on real sites, not cold leads off a database. The belief behind it is simple. Every site needs a qualified tradesperson or skilled operator. They just haven't met the right one yet. A good placement isn't a number filled. It's the crew on site, the job running to program, and the hoist going in on the date you planned for
